The Muse of Snow Drifts

I now know what the fire-loving scribe had met,
His eyes halfway through hell,
His hands in the wreck of heaven:
For I, too, have made a gallows for myself of my own house.

I, too, have balanced light with darkness
And blind now walk, and solitary, through
The purgatory of the in-between.
